05.17.08 - Hello friends! Well, as you can see, we FINALLY have a new website! I realize there are VERY few people who search outside the “wonderful” world of myspace.com for bands anymore, but for those of you who still do...here you go. A brand spanking new poorrichfolk.com, to go right along with a brand spanking new Poor Rich Folk. So much has happened since the last real update we posted. It has probably seemed, for you faithful few, as though we’d dropped off the face of the planet. I assure you we have not. As you may or may not know, our beloved bass player Jon Vanderveer left the band a couple months back to pursue a songwriting career. (He’s really good). He’s fronting a band called Fake Like Me (check them out on our Links page) based out of Muskogee, Oklahoma. He has been and will be greatly missed, but as they say, the show must go on. So we’ve spent the last couple of months sort of rebuilding. Reinventing ourselves, if you will. Great things on the horizon. More details soon.
